Engaging and Developing Audiences –Seminar with Rob Kapilow

KSO Musicians Posted on May 3, 2016 by adminMay 3, 2016

Wed., May 11th, 5 pm to 7 pm
at the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts

We all have the great opportunity to participate in a talk by dynamic and renowned audience engagement specialist, conductor Rob Kapilow of  the “What Makes it Great?”® fame.  He will be in Kingston with the Gryphon Trio’s amazing multi-disciplinary Listen Up! project in conjunction with the Cantabile Children’s Choir and Kingston school children.

In collaboration with the Isabel, The Gryphon Trio has kindly offered Kingston artists, arts staff and board members the opportunity to learn from Rob Kapilow and engage in an interesting discussion with him on engaging and developing audiences.  He’s the Leonard Bernstein of our day in connecting the arts with a much larger public in an imaginative, fun and knowledgeable manner.   Many, many thanks to our friends at the Gryphon Trio who will also be presenting their Listen Up! project on May 13th @ 7:30 PM at the Isabel.

KSO Musicians Posted on September 7, 2015 by adminSeptember 8, 2015

Welcome to the new KSO Musicians' website brought to you by your Orchestra Committee.

Over time, we will be populating the site with materials useful to you as musicians including information such as concert dress details and rehearsal schedules and locations. Additionally we will be adding materials regarding board meetings and minutes, committee meeting minutes, the orchestra guidelines and any other relevant materials.

As always, we are interested in input from the orchestra so please send any and all suggestions to your webmaster Katie Legere (legerek@queensu.ca)/
